So whats your dev language and why?

I was wondering what people use for creating there apps, script.

I myself have been doing mainly PHP and C#. Started out when i was 14 years old with a PHP book, locked myself up and wrote every bit of code out of that book. Eventually ending up making a kick as website for my sport club. It was to advanced for its purpose but i was so proud .

So whats your dev language and how did you get hooked?

php and perl - because i am experianced with them
i think that you ahve to use what you know well or just enter in new environment if you are young

PHP and few others that i dabble in.

I wish i had spent some more time learning C++ or C#. Don't have much time to do that now days though

HTML, some PHP. I outsource everything else.
