I know. Maybe a little rant but wanted to make this thread a few months ago.

So, in bhw you can buy fake IDs, tons of accounts, talk about abusing social media platforms as well as search engines and so much other crap, but one can't talk about abusing systems such as those predatory ptc sites?!

I don't know, guys. Maybe its the deBLACKHATification of bhw.

Would like to share lots of ways to abuse systems and rake tons of cash but I guess this is not as blackhat as I thought it was :(

    /rant
inbf4 thread is deleted and op banned

There's differences between blackhat methods and fraud. Some bh methods border on fraud, hence are illegal.

Well it's a bit like going into a shop and reading through a magazine or newspaper vs putting the newspaper/magazine under your coat and walking out with it.

One is not hurting anyone although the shopkeeper doesn't particularly like people doing it and the other is outright stealing.

Those PPC sites pay you for a service. actually they are just the middleman, the site owner pays you (indirectly) to go to his site.
So they pay you for a service. If you find any way to get paid more but not delivering what he needs, that's scamming.

While on the other hand, taking advantage of SERPS or Social Platforms is just a form of free advertising.
    Just my 2c :D

    You're entirely right!

BHW is full of people breaking laws and exploiting TOS, and a high proportion of the members act like what they are doing is totally fine, yet discussing exploits, like you've mentioned, hacking etc is a big no no.

Fake ID's, while not necessarily being illegal to own, are very often used for fraudulent activities, such as creating bank accounts not in your name, tax avoidance, money laundering etc.

Other examples of fraudulent activities openly discussed on the forum are streaming sites and pop-up ads. Do you really think that advertisers are paying for ads intending for them to be opened in a tab under the movie, which is also illegal?

It's almost laughable when people complain about people doing negative SEO, hacking etc, when they're sat there defrauding their governments etc.

The reason I think BHW doesn't allow certain things (PPC exploits, Craigslist etc) is that they've been warned legally about allowing this sort of content on a public forum. For example, those people doing cookie stuffing on ebay who got caught.

Perhaps a small (pedantic) point here, but there there's a difference between tax avoidance and tax evasion. Tax avoidance is minimising your tax liabilities through legal loopholes in the system and tax evasion is hiding income/assets illegally to not pay your tax liabilities.

I have to agree here. I see so many people conflating blackhat and fraud. One guy was even suggesting a dude get Tor and tails to do some "real blackhat" stuff. He said "You might go to prison, but that's the thrill of it." Probably just some kid talking, but still. Blackhat is breaking some company's rules, fraud is breaking a country's laws. Know the difference. Claiming ignorance in court doesn't work, unless you're a politician.

I'm pretty sure there is a whole forum full of shitlists that would disagree.

    I do apologize.

I meant tax evasion. At least, last time I checked, creating a PayPal in another name to hide money was evasion.

I actually opened a new bank the other day, online. One form of verification is a picture ID. Using services from BHW, I could easily open a bank in a random name.

I wouldn't have a problem with either scenario but I'm guessing owners want to keep the majority of the content above board / legal otherwise it becomes an entirely different beast to handle.

It's really IM/SEO focused but if all that bh stuff was allowed then it would be moving towards illegal / hacking / defrauding which although it borders IM it would not be the same.

I completely agree with you over being able to buy identification. This is very blackhat and in some countries illegal.

There will be a clampdown on virtual accounts/VCC at some point by the authorities. It's an inevitability this will happen.
