So what do we do with "Google search result customization?"

Ok. Just did a search on Big G, and followed a link that gave me this message:
"
When possible, Google will customize your search results based on location and/or recent search activity. Additionally, when you're signed in to your Google Account, you may see even more relevant, useful results based on your web history.

The following information was used to improve your search results for http://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.com:
Web History
One or more items in your Web History were used to improve search results.
Manage Web History
Remove Web History from my Google Account
If you're curious, you can see what a search for http://www.xxxxxx.com looks like without these improvements.

The 'More details' link on your search results page can be used to display this page for approximately 30 minutes, after which it will no longer show this page."

So how does this affect SEO?

Not everybody will want to have an account with Goolge or even let google know their location and search history, privacy concerns and all that. So I am wondering if the majority who do allow google to peek with influence the SERP's for the others.

If so the new best practice may be creating google accounts by the thousands, surfing your own pages and other relevant ones to get yours recognized as one that alotta' people are interested in.

If this influences the public SERP's then you may climb the ranking if you can do it on a big enough scale.
