Say if a kw was 1000 search a month in G how many would it get in bing and yahoo?

Also I hear that ppl say run to yahoo and bing if G causes you trouble but I just checked rnakings for those two on my G based sites and sure some of them are in 20s but most arent seen at all. So whats up with that?

Also in the past I havent been ranked at all when Im rnaking fine in G.

Is there other stuff to be done to target these other engines or what?

It will vary based on the keyword. However, with my keywords I'm seeing top spots in Bing that equal the search volume of about 4th with Google. When Penguin hit and for a few days afterwards, Bing stayed the same or moved up. Today, I'm seeing some of my best keywords in Bing fall as well.

Ye it changes according to the country. For example in japan yahoo was very popular. more popular than google. that is what i heard from japan university instructor.

Depending on the keyword I'd say anywhere from 25-90% less than Google traffic.

See if it was say 10 times less traffic but ten times easier to rank on those engines then it might even out but looking at my rnaking stats this doesnt seem to be the case. From what ive seen its even harder to rank on those other engines.
