    Hi,
I know this is a recurring question in IM world, I browsed BHW and lots of other resources but now I need your help.

I own a bunch of niche websites (EMD), each one about a specific kind of product.
I already use Amazon program and CPAs for them (with good results), but I need to find another source of monetization (no Adsense).

What do you use for EMDs (except Adsense)? Bidvertiser, Chitika, ... what's the most performing and the most convenient choice for this kind of sites?

    Thank you guys,
    Fab.

Try selling banner space on the main page, if you have traffic and good pagerank you'll find many clients :)

Adbrite/blacklabel(adult version of adbrite) ads are good. If you have a site where people really want to go to it,and won't mind a full page ad every 6 hours, then do it once when they enter the site, and another one after 3 or 5 pages view.

Selling text links would be an interesting option, but it would be a quite complex process since I currently own something like 100+ websites (and I'm willing to expand the network).
As for the other ad network, I've read really bad opinions and it seems like no one can be compared at all with Adsense.

Currently, Adsense has been implemented on some of my websites. Theoretically, I could put Adsense on all my websites, but it seems like when I go over a certain sum, the websites on the same Google Adsense account are reviewed and some of them penalized for thin content (-50 penalty). It has happened more than once, and some friends of mine experienced the same problem in the past. Did you have a similar issue?

I was also considering enter into a some kind of JV, in the future (i.e. I publish ads with your pub-id on my websites - in such a way, I reduce footprints-, you hold 30-35% of the revenues and send me the rest through Paypal): I think I would still earn more than by using other ad networks. What do you think about this? Could it be a viable option?

    Thank you guys,
    Fab.

I know you already mentioned that you are doing this, but I'd focus on CPA's.

Obviously not all 100 of your websites are converting/bringing the traffic/money. Focus on the top 10 or 20 that are doing that, and begin to do some A/B testing different CPA offers. You may be surprised how some offers out convert others 2 to 1!

Now that DOES take a lot of time to do, but if you are pulling in decent income I'd recommend spending some extra to get a professional to setup and monitor the results of the different A/B tests for a month or two. That alone could easily double your profits on each and every website.

Infolinks is pretty good. Not for all sites, but for some works good

The best way to monetize your website is to find specific affiliate programs related to your niche. To drill in even more, find specific products related to individual articles and tie in a quick call to action towards that product. Ads are good if you have generic content with nothing related to monetize.
