Your password is 8 days old, and has therefore expired.

Please change your password using this page.

Got the same, but it said that my password is 3 days old (which it is), so it has expired (huh?!)

Yeah that messed me up too. It said 58 days for me and you think I could remember it? Also the new captcha is broken. It says that it was not finished when it clearly was. I finally got a password reset email and reset it.

Something is really messed up. The admins need to do a restore to a known good version of bhw's db.

Was probably just a security measure after they patched something. Doing a rollback would be a bad idea

Sometimes a rollback is inevitable even if it means losing posts. Its the way of life especially if a compromise has occurred as iv read in a couple of other threads regarding mysterious popups.

Maybe you never read my post correctly. An issue was probably looked into and addressed. If the database was compromised, or hinted at being compromised, a forced password reset would be the best course of action after the issue was resolved. Most common issues with forum software is not updating it after heavy customization because you need to do it manually.

Eventually you get smoked by some russian script and decide to update. Not saying that is the case here but I have ran forum communities in the past, been compromised, patched it and forced a global password change on the users.

It was a forced password reset done by the admins it seems, there might be security issue going on around, as reported by few members.

I will say that we have some very good members around this forum that could help us patch any hack or virus we may come across but at the same time we have some bad apples around this forum.

There was another thread with someone apparently experiencing malware issues with BHW. Now this? Hmmm...
