Heya, so something clicked tonight, I was looking at the Christmas Eve Google Trends and went back to 2007 on the Calender, which I hadn't experimented with enough to do. I found Norad Santa Tracker and almost the identical search phrase as hot in trends in 2008.
I also found rose bowl stuff in December and January of both years. Hmmm. You can only go back to around May 2007 if I recall correctly but still, that's data for every day of the year and events like Christmas and Major Football Games will yield you the same results every damn year... Hell yea, I can set up blog a month or a few weeks in advance, seo them for all it's worth, get links and backlinks and wow, instant traffic. Autobloggers may have something with this, but other than these sporadic yearly trend spikes I don't believe autoblogging is good enough for viable sole income anymore.

Example: 2007 Santa Tracker and Norad Santa Tracker Hotness in Google Trends:

Hi L0cke,

Good observation. One conclusion from your observation is that Google trends will be suitable for making autoblogs for seasonal events such as festive and holidays. The only thing is that you will need a lot of domains to feature the keyword for SEO purposes, and that autoblog may only bring in some income for that short period of the holiday or festive celebration- say a month before and a month after it.

If you can get a TON of traffic from the holiday's....best of luck to you!!!..

If I were you, i'd promote some "gift-card incentivized" offers from C0pe@c or something, on the main page ..... then you'll really get some dough!! :D

I'm not quite up to copeac specs, no site worth mentioning as of yet and they're kinda anal about their w-9 submittance, individual or not, which doesn't make sense.
Many affiliates ask for ssn and report with that, which copeac could, but these guys act as if you must have an ein and business name even if you're using your ssn and real name as both. I would say that I'd bother, but I'm looking for greener pastures with less trouble at the moment. Not that I'm against paperwork but I don't feel like being burdened with turning in that w-9 I get sent in the mail in january or february 2010 just yet. I dunno, it's a lame excuse, but for now it'll do until I find I can't get along without copeac. Incentivized offers look great though. Know any other incentivized offer affiliate providers? Maybe one of them is less hassle.. and I'd rather hear a name from someone who's used another one than google.

TY
