    Hello Guys,
(Correct me if im in the wrong section)

Recently i got interested in the website and review niche.

i was planning to make a website that reviews amazon products.
i was meant to create income off it through google adsense and the amazon afilliate program.

my URL was http://365AmazonReviews.com - i thought this was the perfect domain until i received an email off amazon telling me that they wont accept me because of the URL having "amazon" in it.
    im now currently super pissed.

i have had no experience in the website niche but i came up with another good domain - the only problem was that it would not have any involvement with amazon. it will only create an income off google adsense...

Im confused on what to do, can anyone give me advice

    Thanks in advance

    -Ali

Recently Amazon sued some review selling companies - so a domain with Amazon and review in the same domain sounds fishy to them anyway.

Here stuff you need to do in order to get accepted in the program.

    1. User a unique domain. You can't use a company's brand name for yourself. So no AppleProductReviews.com or SamsungReviews.com
    2. Publish several pages of content including a Privacy Policy page before applying.
    3. Don't freakin' copy other articles. All your reviews are just copied from other sources. That's just stupid.

And even if you get accepted, from the looks of it, you won't earn much. Stop what you're doing right now. You shouldn't create a review site about everything. Reviewing a teeth whitener THEN a PS4. No. Of course, you can review whatever product you want, but it would be hard to rank your site (and consequently profit) if you're all over the place. Focus on one niche and then build your site around it.

Just buy another domain. You can get $0.99 Go Daddy coupons.

    Good luck. Have fun. :D

All you can do is just go change the domain name to something else and resend in an application to join. If you have a lot of good traffic surely Amazon should accept you. So don't give up, just try again! :)

This is all great advice above. The other thing I would add is that you shouldn't even be applying to that at this stage. They won't review your site until you make a sale. (In other words, even if you are "accepted" initially it isn't guaranteed).

If you don't make a sale within 6 months they cancel the account. If you make the sale and don't like your site, they will deny the account.

I'd put up some good content, get some traffic - then cross this bridge.

And why won't the new domain have any involvement with Amazon? It's very easy to come up with domain names that don't have the word "Amazon" in them - but are still able to be used to sell Amazon products.

... and stay off G0Daddy. Get your domain somewhere else.
