So someone stole my **USEFUL** reddit post, touched it up with their ideas which could have been a reply on my own....

and got featured above me in the newsletter .. . .

Anybody else happen to notice?

Not necessarily. The other thread was a bit more detailed with added resources and also talked about monetisation so probably served as a better guide for newbies.

Also the order of the threads in the newsletter is probably not an indication of a better method/content.

Hopefully no one took me seriously

I did read both of them, honestly both are very generalized information but still provides good insights for any newcomers who want to get started in reddit.
I wouldn't go as far as saying they took ideas.

However, since this was in the Lounge, i'm sure OP is just playing around too and isn't being serious

Agreed. Can’t count the number of times these reddit guides have popped up over the years and it’s usually the same information. But I guess it helps the newbies so, good on Op and the other person for wanting to share.
