So should you put the kw in the titl/url now or not?

    I lost a cpl sites with that 'emd update' so wondering now as im gonna try agina wiht those kws how i should structure the urls?

    I was just using the exact kw as the url most times. Then again I ranked one recently with just the kw as the name so who knows?

    What are others doing these days?

    Yes why not? But you can include it as part of the title not making it the whole title. like for "Blue widgets" you can write something like "Some blue widgets you must have".

    What I found out recently that worked great for me is using a question as you url structure. For example if my keyword is car insurance my url would be:

    Www. Mysite/whats-the-best-car-insurance.html

    iv been doing this for a while now and it's working great. As for your emd concern, the emd itself is not penalized but rather the content. As long as your emd site is getting updated frequently then you should be good.

    yes i wasnt referring to emds its jsut that the url slams came at the same time as the emd update.

    Indeed it did. I think Google are now forcing people into creating authority sites rather than have small niche sites. That's what I'm afraid of
