OK so I put up a wordpress blog for my favorite British sitcom "The IT Crowd" right now it just has all the episode for the 3 seasons. Still need to get some more/different ads up. Adbrite is being slow to approve.

Anyway was hoping some of you with more knowledge then I could have a look and tell me if I have made any newbie mistakes. Give some advice on advertisers I should be using and hopefully some methods to start getting some traffic as that seems to be the hardest thing for me.

Please have a look and let me know what you think. This is my first attempt at this so any and all advice is welcome.

I do have CPA lead gateway on the videos.

    Site is electricsexpants(dot)info

    Thanks

Man, I love "IT Crowd"! My favorite British show along with "Skins". Waiting for next season for that great show...bookmarked your blog too. :)

As for the v-blog itself - I think it's really cool and nice looking, in IT Crowd style. Great domain LOL - "God Damn these electric sexpants" :p. In . Also good idea with cpa*lead - although there are no offers for me/my cntry.

Yeah it looks really good, and you have done a great job. I must agree that cpa*lead idea is good because if I didn't know what it is I would have filled it.

Anyone knows where I can watch this show without cpa*lead stuff?

Nice site and design but be careful though.. your hosting those vids on your own server.

Thanks for all the comments, I appreciate it.

Yea I wasn't sure if that was going to be an issue or not, my server is in the Netherlands and they know I am hosting the vids and said if they receive any complaints they will forward them to me so hopefully it won't become an issue.

But if the site becomes popular, this will kill your bandwidth...

My plan has unmetered bandwidth so hopefully as long as I don't start sucking up resources that won't be an issue. And if it gets that popular it better be making me enough money to move to a VPS or Dedicated setup.

    Thanks...

This one is a manual blog because there is only 6 episodes in a season and it was just easier to get some cheap offshore hosting and host the vids myself. I am working on a auto video blog that is on a much larger scale that will have about 15 shows.

I am pretty happy with this one it's only been fully functional for a couple days and I am getting around 100 hits a day and starting to see a little revenue so hopefully that is a good sign.
