Just received a letter from my local ISP saying that I exceeded 500GB worth of internet usage and they told me I'm causing lag to my surrounding neighbour.(WTF?) Then I downloaded ShaPlus Bandwith Meter 1.3 and found out Scrapebox hogs up my bandwith like mad. 1 small 1hour session of fast poster with SB and its up to 8GB !

So suggestions, should I switch to an unlimited bandwith ISP or should I get a VPS? I don't know how VPS works and what's the cost for a reliable one. I have heard lots of good things about having a VPS but my pc right now is a beast and would be a waste to do minor stuffs.

I would suggest a VPS, it would save you power and time as well as bandwidth.
A VPS is easy to use and setup whether you use linux or a windows machine, Virtualbox would be a good tool if you got a linux VPS.
As for where to get a VPS and what specs you may need(obv high bandwidth), I would need to tell you over PM because all the cheapest/most reliable places are private.
So PM if you need to know more, Good Luck.
Also: I work with linux and Windows servers as part of my job, let me know if you need help with tech support.
