To save beginners/confused people time on highly effective techniques getting a site with as many links to it and highest ranking possible. So many posts with half a$$ answers by people who never even tried a method but head some Joe Blow made X amount from trying it.

To cut the crap would the people who HAS great to excellent results please post what they did? This can range from email marketing, adwords(vast subject so I know that is hard to explain, how about a good course on it, book,etc...) banner ads, Squidoo, Facebook, Linkbacks(how and details), Blogs, SEO(software or techniques) and anything else we would not be aware of.

What would be awesome is a list of software that can effectively do the grudge work of any of the methods. What SEO software will give the best results, what program will blast a blog, what is the biggest factors in boosting organic SEO, etc... Also, please include necessary websites so we know where to go for a service.

I will take all of this, compile it, gather software and keep it updated with the best and most effective techniques for all of to use and ask nothing in return but solid information.

Who will step up and make this possible?

If you have real products and sell them on your website, try google base. I even heard you can post reviews to google base if you have a review site. Something I am considering in the future. No personal experience there, but google base has really helped my product based biz, and if you get in the 'one box' it can be gold (thats when you search and see 'shopping results' on the google search. Usually 3 shopping items show up from base).

I think the reason this thread isn't going anywhere is because it seems as if you're asking everyone to post methods that have already been posted and discussed here many times. I don't mean to be a downer, it's just that there's SO many different methods and things to do...and within those steps are even more steps and so on...that it would be impossible to list everything in one thread (as excellent as that would be).

I'm finding that I'm having success by just reading and soaking in what I learn and then applying that knowledge to my work. I get in a groove and just pump out all the steps, sometimes slowing down a bit to try out a new technique, then rinsing and repeating everything all over again (find niche, get domain, build site, promote...)

I agree, but even if it takes time I want to create even checklist of what one should do. This can work, we just need contributors.
