You can barely see it because I cut the size in half and removed the frequently accessed pages I use.

It does not annoy me at all but I do remember them saying they would never have advertising on their home page as it would dilute the purity of their search engine (maybe 2008 or so?).
 
Very ominous indeed. Just helps you never to forget that everything has a price.
 
I've been seeing ads for the Stadia on the homepage on and off for a while. Same kind of thing.

To be fair, I think they were referring to offering ad space to other brands.

You of all being believed them if the master of blackhatworlds believe them then it’s easy to understand why newbies yet believe them. (Ps the master is in reference to the master of universe he man show).
