What host cut you off for a DMCA without even contacting you first? I thought Dream Host was the only worthless hosting company that would do that.

Haven't you put a link back to the original in your autoblog? Or you just spin rewriting?

It is not nice to get a dmca having spent hours to set things up.

hmmmmmm that's just gives me an idea ... :) will need to test with like 10-20-100 blogs to see if the dcma notice posts getting deleted automatically and rest of the post keep pooping traffic :D ... if that's works half of the work from auto blogs will be like done lol

Has anyone here actually ever used Dream Host and got a DMCA? I have, and they instantly shut down my account, even though it was a fake DMCA from someone I had pissed off. The DMCA said I ripped off their site design, even though I was using a free Wordpress theme with no modification, and Dream Host shut me down. Talking to the reps to try and explain that I was using a free theme was like pulling teeth, and I will NEVER use that awful hosting company again.

You wouldn't have that much trouble if you spent a little more time on research and found sources of content that are sloppy about protecting their work. You can easily distinguish the ones that go through a lot of trouble to not get copied and the ones that just don;t care or don't know about it.
