So many changes, I have a simple question (+rep)

Ive never done, or been interested in doing a fan page with a CPA optimization.

That being said, I have a new site that would really respond well to the facebook userbase. The facebook fan page would ideally go viral, however the goal is not to make money from it, it would be to gain traffic to a site (so basically no spam / cpa, so I should be on good grounds w/ facebook).

I would like to know, with all the recent changes, if there is a working code so that when somebody becomes a fan of a page, some of their friends are automatically notified / suggested / invited to become a fan.

I know that there are limits, ive heard 40. Does that mean each new user can only invite 40 of their friends, or that there can be a total of 40 invites for a fan page across facebook as a whole.

I'd be fine with 40 per person. If thats the case, does anyone have a code / tell me where to put it?

longer answer: you're about right with 40, and there are some working codes of course, but as you said you dont want it to use it for cpa, you would need to optimize the fbml code for an other design to suit your fan page.

That template is $149? Wtf? I coded the exact thing (if not better) in like an hour just using google..

and what does that mean? now you have a product worth $150.00 , make them a competition and sell it for $100.00
