Hi guys, I've finally got my site #1 for a keyword with 1000 monthly visitors, the first one I attempted it took about a week and a half.

I am curious now, how should I make money other than offering seo services? I want to create a new site but what is the usual method for making money? I see amazon affiliates, is this where you target a specific product that amazon sells that has decent searches every month and try to just sell that 1 product?

What other ideas do you have, thank you!

You now need to focus on conversions! test your landing pages to convert people to a product, write good copy that convinces people to buy something through you or give away their email and permission to mail them to you!

You can make a site for a clickbank product and rank that on google. Repeat this process...

Or build many micro niche sites and put adsense on them.

Can I just jump in and give some advice. Just because you ranked a site with 1000 UV per month does not mean you should offer a SEO service straight away. What was the competition like for your KWs?

Continue building sites for yourself as suggested above and believe me you will realize you have not nailed SEO and you will continue to learn. Once you have a few of your own sites ranking and a process down pat then you can start looking into offering your services. Just my thoughts!

    Hey everyone,

Well 1000 monthly searches a month isn't a lot at all. I done that when I was a 'newbie' in SEO without much trouble, and still do.

If you can 'nail' say, multiple 5000 monthly keyword searches per month, then you've got something to work on.

As for your 'how to make money' question, you could easily review clickbank products, promote them, put up Adsense, CPA offers, etc...

Thanks for the feedback and yeah I shouldn't of said I nAiled it I was a little over excited and the competition was not that high. Do you guys suggest a new domain-name for every product? Or should I just make new pages seo optimized differently for diff products?

If you use multiple domains the chances of all of them getting hit by an algorithm update is much less. Therefore, I would recommend you go that route.

SEO is only half of the job. And I'm inclined to say the easiest part.

What you now need to do (besides getting better at SEO, keeping your seo knowledge up to date, and buying SEO tools) is learn the other half - the half that converts visitors to cash in your hand.

You can offer seo services, sure. Advertise locally, advertise online (forums). Create a website and use that (show examples of sites that you've ranked for certain keywords on this seo site; make a video; give away free seo tips in a blog on the seo site).

The other way of monetizing is by promoting another person's product. Join a sponsor (clickbank, amazon, so on.)

Converting visits to CPA sales is the other 50% of the job. I'd advise you learn how to write good sales copy (something I never see talked about here) and sales design (designing your site to get sales).

i have only about 10 websites and i do not have any sites on #1 so hats down to you.

depending on your keyword, you can promote a certain product. adsense is always the best way to go if there is nothing specific that you are promoting . there are tons of great ebooks and materials on this forum for adsense.

    gl to you
