I forgot the product's name. But I saw a video about a drone technology that can follow you around.

So for instance you're biking on a mountain, using a tracker, a drone can follow you.

Supposedly for shooting video, with you as the main object.

    That is freaking awesome.

    Is there such thing?

Yup. Forgot the name as well. I vaguely remember that it looked like a pill?

Yes there is - the one I saw was based on a wrist band, and the drone followed that, and you could adjust height/distance via the wristband. Can't remember the name though

Well, I feel kinda silly now. I thought this is a very advanced tech, stuff out of science fiction.

"Top 5 Best Auto Follow Drones"

And they make it seems like a toy. Sigh.

Not for long now we'll get drones just like one in Half-Life 2? Where it will automatically scan/take picture of people...

I wonder if there's a technology to recognize humans without tracker. Like driverless car which can recognize objects, but not sure if it can tell difference between lamp post and people.

I'm sure there is tech to follow you without a tracker, just might not be public or cheap enough for the average consumer yet.
