Do you agree its best to focus on 1 or 2 niches solely instead of building campaign for 1 niche then move on to another niche such as How to train your dog to stand on his 2 toes..

I mean 1 or 2 niches your a expert in the niche and you can have return customers who will buy from you over and over. Also it would be better for JV's partnerships and other stuff and you could build a massive list.

What do you think. A book i read recommends 1-2 niches until mastered

One can't be better than the other, it's simply a personal preference. Some people would rather
maintain 50 sites making a few dollars each and others would rather focus on 5 higher quality sites
making a lot more each. It depends more on your business style, how easily you can do SEO, whether
you outsource, and how much time you have to invest into the sites. Personally I prefer having 5
quality sites in competative niches as opposed to 50 sites, but that's just because I like a challenge :)

EVERYONE will eventually get to the maintenance stage of their niches.

Doing just 5 might take you longer. But at least in this line of work hard work ACTUALLY pays off!

    SO ask yourself this.

When you finally get to the maintenance stage would you rather try and control 50 sites or control 5?

    The choice is simple :D

no need for that many sites.

Thats the point of stayin low niche friendly. You Build QUALITY in each niche. So no need to waste on 500 sites.

More time and work but it pays off in the end come maintence time. Plus u pick some high profit niche. 3 at max or however much u can manage and concentrate and it will pay off

it will also show you how to Jew the big G better since you need those sites to survive

its all about moderation, but definitely fewer quality sites will get you more money when you sell them. even if they are making the same as say 50 shitty sites.

If you ask me its definately better to be in as many niches as possible, the more the better, if one goes down you have many others. Just because you are in many niches does not mean you have to do a bad job of all of them.

I think there is a big benefit to trying many different niches for a while to see if you can find one that really hits it, but depending on what medium you are working on I like ending up with a couple main niches so that I can build support/complimentary pages/offers/products along side it and this has a synergistic effect that makes it a lot lower effort on you and gets stronger results for their cooperation.

In many cases it is better to focus on 1-2 niches. As long as they are money makers. Don't focus on 1-2 niches that get 1000 searches a month. Instead, put all your effort into the big competitive ones. Eventually, it'll pay off.
