I have seen a lot of opinions as to if we should try to index links ourselves or let them be found naturally, and it seems people are on both sides of the fence. So which option is best?

I'm in the process of building my tier 3 and I have been under the impression that if I do run any links through an indexer/pinger that I should just do my tier 3 because if those links get found then my tier 2 will follow, is that right ?

Good links from quality PBNs, guest posts get found naturally and you don't need to use any indexer. On the other hand when you build links on web 2.0s, profile links etc it's a good idea to get them indexed because they might never be found naturally.

As for your question, that how it should work but I it doesn't always work like that. First of all, indexing services won't index all your links. From my experience only about 50% gets indexed. Second of all even if Google crawlers find your tier 3 links they might not follow to your tier 2 links, why? I'm not exactly sure but maybe due to limited resources they have

Links that you build manually on authority domains do not often require indexing. However links built automatically require indexation as they will often be disregarded or never be found by search engines.

I think it really depends on the characteristics of your niche. There are some niches where indexing links is more critical than it is in others, and there are niches where most of your links will get discovered naturally. I tend to lean on the "have faith" side of things, but it never hurts to check your indexing rates, and do something about it if/when they are falling well below your expectations.

I usually drip feed mine through an indexer. I have a better rate of Google picking them up that way.

I have been running my links through express indexer for the past year and it's been working great for me, so i'm going to keep using them.

I think it is best to do natural indexing. Building lots of links is unnatural enough.

I let my links get indexed the natural way. The ones that don't get indexed naturally are just not worth it.

Naturally. The idea of off site seo is to mimic what would naturally happen as a site gains popularity. Nobody who writes a post/link about a website would then go and manually index it. If it doesn't look natural it's poison.

eh the answers on this just confirm what I have been hearing for a while, 50% is on one side of the fence and 50% on the other. Hmm not sure what I should do, would it be better to run tier 2 links through a indexer or tier 3 if I had to pick one ?
