    The plugin gives you the choice of putting the script either "in the footer" or "in the header." I have tried both options, and upon doing so, the code does not appear in the footer or in the header.

    When I load my page and do a "view source," I would expect to see my google analytics ID (as I do on a normal, non WP page) but I do not.

    Am I doing something wrong or is the plugin faulty?

    If the "Google Analytics for WordPress Configuration" plugin is fault, please recommend another one that is confirmed to work.

    Thanks.

    If you go to your blog and do a view source, does your Analytics ID appear in the code?

    Make sure you've put it in the footer of the current theme you are using. It sounds like a silly mistake but its one I've seen before. :)

    I have it in the footer and it doesn't show when I do a View Source. Is this expected behavior?

    It also doesn't show when I put it in the header.

    actually you know what? i added it to another blog and it does in fact show up in the View Source.

    But for some reason my other blog, it won't show up no matter what I do or where I put it. I've had some problems with this theme regarding other widgets, so there's probably an issue with this theme and the analytics plugin, too.

    This theme I'm using is a POS, but it looks so awesome and fits my niche so perfectly that I don't want to change it.

    n/m

    It doesn't show up if you're logged in.

    Just posting as an FYI for anyone else having the same issue.

    It also won't show if the footer.php doesn't call wp_footer(); I guess.
