Have you tried calling them and asking about your application? That's really all you have to do that and seem like you know what your doing. They always asked how I was going promote offers I told them right now I am doing SEO until I can generate some extra cash to put into PPC I always got approved. It also can help to use an email address associated with your domain name. The link in my sig goes to one of my fav affiliate networks.

It isn't a very long conversation. If you really want to join a network you will do what you have to do to get accepted. You might be able to email them explaining your situation it's worth a shot or contact one of the managers on AIM. Goodluck.
