>$3 CPC and I wrote two 400 word articles. Did nothing since then. In a week it's on page 3 now. I really don't have much time this week and want to spend a few minutes on it tomorrow or tonight. Any suggestions to help improve it slightly with minimal effort?

I got no money to spend. blew it all on tweetattacks and stuff. I'll have all day wednesday to work on the site. What do you guys suggest I do? Write articles or spam other blogs manually?

Is that with competitive keywords? If not, it is not hard to have your sites listed on page 3.

I built a site and got it de-indexed from the keyword I was going for because of massive link building. That brought me down so I left it the way it was. 5 months later it's on page 4 for a single word keyword that has over 68 million search results. Now I'm going to make sure this baby gets the best attention it deserved from me.

Persistence is key.

1. Find other sites like yours and send them an email asking for a link exchange. Put their site URL on your site first and tell them you did in case they want to check it. Some people feel inclined to do so because you've already did.

2. Buy a Linkwheel package.

3. Keep writing articles, atleast 2-3 per week. You can outsource this to an article writer and spend lets say $100 for 20 articles. Then just drip-feed them (Wordpress has an option to do this).

4. Buy an SEO Fiverr gig.

5. Profit

6. Play MW3 on lazy boy recliner while eating Cheeto puffs.

Hmm, I would believe manual link building by hand commenting on forums & blogs wouldn't be enough for a ban, no?

I'd build some buffer sites and blast those to hell and back. There is a good thread on here somewhere about ranking nonemds. The guy who wrote it pretty much explains his method from start to finish. Its a good read.

For a low competition KW, you should be able to boost your site up to page 1 or 2 with some manual comment and forum linking. Do some competitor research and grab their links, find some related blogs and build them there. Etc.

Then start making some web 2.0 properties for the site - Squidoo, blogger, wordpress etc. as well as some article submission sites, directory listings etc.

With some work, you can get to where you need to be in a couple weeks and maybe earn some $$$ to start working on a more competitive KW.

Either outsource your SEO or do it yourself.

Write a couple of more articles. Submit to article directories.

Submit their feeds to RSS directories.

You should start seeing results within a few days.
