My boss is gonna give me a $1k bonus if I get his YouTube channel to surpass that of a rival business. We both kind of started expanding with YouTube recently, and for some reason they're way ahead. Maybe because they have a much larger fan-base. I would post both of their names, but I don't want anyone meddling >_>; So what I want to know is, other than just googling "youtube SEO guide" (which I've done), what are some good tips to get views? The views don't have to convert, or be relevant trafic. They just have to be real humans. In total, I need about +100,000 views from what I'm at now, which is 25,000. And that's for total video views, not channel. I've already been tagging with good keywords, after keyword research, and I have been including most all the keywords in the descriptions too. I have a kind of unique long-tail keyword that all the videos have in the title, so almost all the related videos are more of the series, getting me more views. I'm also submitting to Digg and StumbleUpon. So that's what I'm doing, thanks for any tips for more traffic!
