And I only sold 12 copies in a year. I have no idea how to get affiliates either. I have decided to rebrand it and repackage it and try to start again.

I was selling it for 39 bucks with 75% commission, but i wrote my own sales page so maybe my copy sucks?

Anyone have any advice on how to sell a "get your ex back" type program? I know its a competitive niche but i really think i have a good product.

    Thanks

I think if you are launching you check out jvnotify.com to announce your launch to get some affiliates on board.

Pretty hard to give feedback without seeing your sales page.

What % is the page converting at (with raw traffic)? If it's above 1% you're not doing too badly.

My GF is in the niche, so I'm often get exposed to various products dealing with relationships.

You might have a good product, but your sales page is problematic for a serious affiliate and it might be the reason its not being picked. The problems as I see them:

    - Good old sales page - its good to be different
    - No authority - where is Dr. Julie Roberts Ph.D. who comes to rescue?
    - Not catchy - begin with personal story or visitors' mind-state?
    - Concentrate on women? - I dont know a single man who would buy such a guide

    Hope it helps
    Cheers

I believe I saw ur sales page on clickbank when I saw searching for products to promote. Improve your sales page and if u can reach over 75 gravity then affiliates will come.

If I can be honest: I didn't promote your ebook because of the sales page. I will be interested if u can create a attractive sales page that if I as a buyer, I would pul out my credit card to buy.

    Gl to u

I've been into clickbank products for 10 years and I can tell you that niche is competitive.

Why work so hard when youc an just pick a less competitive niche?

That way you work less but make much more.

So change niche unless you're a SEO pro.

Yeah, the niche is tough, and the page is pretty unappealing ... very early-2000ish.

However, we all start there. My first site is still up (I'm embarrassed to post it) here: http://www.fistfullofcashsystem.com/

It's rough, but I've kept at it, and I'm now building MUCH better sites that convert well.

Just stick with it. You'll get there as long as you don't quit.

    Hey.

I'm writing my own product too and it should be ready in couple of weeks.

    These are my advises:

    1. The sales page must have a very attractive look with shiny pictures and letters. Everything needs to be clear and in perfect order. Make it look bit more natural, not spammy. Include as much information and proofs possible. In that niche you need to put very good and honest looking testimonials.

    2. Video or voice covered message always improves the sales. So you need to create a small intro text you wanna tell your new visitors. The easiest way to do this is to outsource on fiver. This guys voice is amazing and he can do it for you for only 5$

    http://fiverr.com/users/naplesdave/...io-voice-narrating-your-script?ref=glst-g-ttl

    3. Testimonials. This is very important and lots of people pay attention to this. So this is their most important proof for the thing you are offering. You can outsource with 3-4 male and female testimonials on fiverr.

    4. PreSale hype and announcing launch is so far the most important thing I according to my opinion. So, make sure u announce the launch into all clickbank forums, websites you can find, also announce on black hat forums and look for affiliates.

    5. I haven't tried this, and I don't know if it works or could work. But, how about getting some sales and improving the gravity, using adwords coupons ? You can buy 80$-100$ coupons for 5$-10$ everywhere. If u can manage this out you will increase the gravity and will move up on the lists which will lead to getting more affiliates and more gravity.

    6. Don't forget about youtube. Outsource some testimonials saying you are a affiliate of this product and say how satisfied you are from it's conversion.

First off, if you sold 12 copies, that's a pretty good start. I read your sales page and I say it's decent. These are my suggestions though:

-change the format/layout of the sales page
    -change headline
-write a more interesting story of your personal struggle...it seemed as though you rushed through your story
-definitely having audio/video on the page would help
