I had my sites wiped out by panda.I am forced to abandon seo to get traffic....
I hear the same story from many people here...But when they say their story here there are people here who mock them
as if they are unaffected by google.....

So how many of you here have sites still standing after the panda and penguin attacks?

Panda has nothing to do with SEO, it's the Penguin you're after.

I had a number of sites get hit, a number are still doing well. Feels like I am back 6 months after I started years ago...

Haven't really been hit, but didn't take many short cuts. And probably just lucky. Always working on making things look more natural.. I only lost placements once ever - that was when I Scapeboxed 100K links to my $$ site HAHA. good times.

I do - ranking stayed okay (one a 3 and one a 4) but traffic plummeted, which of course means revenues and sales plummeted so I had to rent my home just to pay the mortgage and have been trying to improve and get any kind of boost since April 11, 2011 ... not much luck, very sorry to say. Am not ditching my site at all, but am looking hard for other ways to earn to dig out of the rut this mess got me in...

I still have sites standing as I never put all my eggs in one basket. I have many of sites which I simply do not touch and then when the Google monster comes and eats my touched sites, I force my untouched sites in their place.

My site's positions actually improved from those updates.. but its long tail, so I don't think the updates had such a visible impact.. also I do very softcore blackhat.. borderline grey

Strangely enough my most legitimate sites have been hit while the ones that had a ridiculous amount of backlinks are fine. I guess by having that many backlinks it added the needed diversity.
