So how many backlinks/day or month is "safe?"

I'm sure you all will have varying opinions and experiences, and I want to hear them.

How many backlinks can I build per month or per day without it getting me on Google's radar? Assume for this question that they are all PR0 junky backlinks, not related, and not authority sites.

And how long should I continue to do that? I do know that Google looks for consistency.

stay under 10 / day if your site is new
after 1 month or 2 go to 15-20 / day
continue to increase slowly (naturaly )
