I have recently discovered this site and it's been a big help so far. I'm still trying to figure out a few little things to nail down my daily process for getting followers. In case it's relevant I am currently at 1400 followers, grown organically up to 1250 with 61 posts through only following and liking people I actually want to follow and posting my photography. I only started this new process yesterday. So far, below is my process: 1. I will go to a large account (usually 500k+) in my niche and go to their followers, then go through and follow their most recent followers until it won't let me anymore (usually around 60). 2. I go to hashtags relevant to my account and go through, like 3-4 pictures of each users photos and leave a comment, hoping they'll check out my account and follow. I only follow these guys if I really like them. 3. Every hour I go through and un-follow about 50-100 people (starting from bottom up so I'm not un-following the most recent people I've followed). I'm wondering if there's any particular rules I should be looking out for to ensure I am not banned. IE should I only follow X amount of people per day, and only un-follow X amount per day? Also, how do you try to ensure you have a receptive and interactive audience? I don't want to be one of those account with 20k followers only getting 300 likes per photo. I do only follow those following my niches large accounts and hashtags, so I figure there's got to be a large amount of those interested in my work. My end goal is to get to 20k followers or so this way and then let it grow organically through posting my photos and using hashtags.
