So i started my IM journey early this year as a noob. So far I am very please with what I've achieved but I'm still far from achieving my ultimate goal though. Thanks to this forum too that I was able to make my first sale online. Really a lot of helpful wonderful people here. I 'm currently studying for exams for my final 2 modules. So I decided to take a break and write this post to ease my mind.

So far my IM journey has been great. It's really challenging though. There's the love-hate thing going but I'm getting hang of the whole process. I consider myself obsessed with this whole internet marketing thingy. I spent more time learning about internet marketing rather than school. I'm really not sure how I passed my previous modules though. lol.

Having to deal with school, part-time job and IM altogether, I really find it hard to make time for my family, friends and my girlfriend. I would spend my free time at home, in my room, learning and applying what I've learned from this forum and other IM blogs i've read. Me and my girlfriend, most of the time, will get into arguments due to the fact that I spend more time on my projects rather than spending time with her. There are times where I feel like giving up though. I do need to work on my time management. Since school is coming to an end for me, my parents kept asking me what are the jobs that I will be applying for etc. Really, I don't feel like finding a job though but I have to in the mean time in order to support my IM journey. The only reason why I will find a job.

So this is what IM did to me in a couple of months:

    Before:

    before.jpg

    After:

    after.jpg

My ultimate goal is to be out of the rat race! I really hope I will achieve my goal, work towards it and most importantly not to give up! I really hope that this desire inside of me will keep burning like a raging wild fire. However I need to work on my time management! Anyway, much love to all of you! Best forum I've ever joined so far!

    Now back to mugging! :yell::headache:

I'm also struggling at the moment to work out and keep a healthy diet and still get work done every day. You need to just remember to keep things balanced, and don't be scared to outsource, if it frees up some time in your personal life.

haha. Agree with you man. Been eating a lot of junk lately. I don't blame IM however, but due to the lack of time and screwed up time management, it kinda affected my mentality byquite a bit. So I'm finding a solution to have a better time management! :D

True man. I'm thinking of taking a time off with my girlfriend at the moment. Get everything sorted out first and stuff. That's one of my weakness, unable to keep things balanced. Have to work on it though! Thanks for taking the time to respond though! :D

Tell your girlfriend to stop having sex with you until you lose weight. You'll see what sex drive does to you. :D

May the Force be with you!

LOL you have to balance, take good breaks when you get to that point where your brain wont absorb any information. You brain will tell you when it needs a break, pay attention to it.

Lol man, I am in the same boat as you. Work, IM, studying for an entrance test. Although my wife is very understanding, I feel like I need to give her more time. In the end it will work out not just for me but for everyone. Same in your case, that is if you intend to remain with this girl.

    Anyway, Good luck!

You can do it OP. Just eat healthy and set goals for yourself. You had a good body and can easily get it back.

If you don't want to work a 9 to 5 job then try personal fitness training - after you get back in shape of course.

I'm a full time IMer and have been so for a while. When I worked a 9 to 5 job I was fat and out of shape. Once I
quit that and started working for myself, I got my a$$ back in shape. However, 3 weeks ago I had hernia surgery
and can't work out like I used to but for the last week I've been slowly getting back into it by walking twice a day,
short bike rides and today I finally went back to the gym and did some very light weight lifting with a little cardio.

You just gotta stay focused and set goals for yourself.

If you don't want to work a 9 to 5 job then try personal fitness training - after you get back in shape of course.

By the way, if you want a rapid weight loss program check out the link below. It's the GM diet and it really works, I tried it once.
Just don't get addicted like some people have.

    Code:
    http://www.iimahd.ernet.in/~jajoo/gmdiet.html
I could go on and on about weight loss and staying healthy but I don't want to seem like I'm rambling.

you stopped hitting the gym. i run a moderately successful site and still find time to hit the gym. Just make sure you drop everything you're doing 3-4x a week to spend a couple of hours at the gym and eat healthily as much as you can.

A successful person is successful in everything.

    Brian Dyson once said:

"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - work, family, health, friends and spirit ... and you're keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls - family, health, friends and spirit - are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life."

Holiecow 6 figures congrats man! Yeah man will start working out once im done with my exams! :D

Ahh similar situation then. It's great that your wife is very understanding. That's a plus point. I agree though about giving more time for your partner, one that I have been neglecting. I do intend to take a break just so to clear my mind for the time being. Thanks DeadJoe!

Thanks for your motivating words popcrdom29. Yeah I need to get back to eating clean and start working out. Really feel like shit though eating all those junks. I do have friends working as personal trainer, so I might go to the personal training route since I am currently majoring in sport and exercise science. And thanks for the recommending the link too. I've read it and to be honest it's very basic as it didn't cover things such as macros,TDEE, caloric deficit etc but overall a good read! And also I wish you a speedy recovery popcrdom29!! :D

Well that's really deep man! Yeah man I agree our loved ones are the most important people in our lives. I'm trying my best to balance it out between chasing my dream and spending time with them. Might need to go for a time management course me thinks! haha. Ouh so this Brian Dyson is the guy behind Coca Cola. Now i know. Thanks for taking your time to respond system0102!

You mean that weight lost pills recommended by Dr. Oz? Nah man I'm not fan of weight lost supplements. The only supplement i take is whey protein.
