Google does not allow webmasters to create backlinks to there own sites but all of us do.

It is blackhat, and cheating and illusion that we give to Google.

Trying to satisfy myself by saying that Google knows this aswell and everyone dose it lol :D

Where does it say that Google does not allow users to build backlinks to their own sites? You are misunderstanding the Google Webmaster Guidelines. It is fully allowed to build backlinks to your own site, you just can't do it with the specific intentions of flowing page rank from that page to your page. If you think you are adding QUALITY content that will make users online experience better, then go for it!

Black and white...it's all relative. Nowadays everybody does stuff few years ago blackhats only did and so on. Doing blackhat stuff is just staying ahead of the mass and exploiting the knowledge.

Yea, its actually funny in a way... if you write an article with the intention of gaining a backlink, that's against Google's TOS... but if you write the very same article with the intention of providing valuable content (and get the very same link in the process), then you are good...

Someone needs to develop a "good intention plugin" for wordpress!

Not everyone is doing BH; just the smart ones! As far as g00gal is concerned,, their monopoly and manipulation of the SERPs is well known to people who monitor the right metrics. Those individuals who believe G is playing with a pristine deck of cards are fooling themselves. g00gal is playing with a stacked deck that is marked to the hilt.

Their sole mission, goal and objective is to be "THE" monolithic monopoly that runs/controls the entire "INTERNET!" Their goal is to get everything to go through g00gal. They want to control and monopolize: email, SERPs, videos, music, Internet TV, affiliate programs, CPA programs, mobile phones, etc., etc.

Consequently, they take ownership of companies such as U Toob, Zagat, Motorola Mobility, AdMob, Postini and others, in addition to outright purchasing patents from companies such as IBM when they feel the patents could challenge their goal of total superiority and domination. Never trust g and play the game just like they do!

I agree with you 100% that they have a monopoly over the vast majority of the web, but on the other hand... They do a really good job at what they do.

I really didnt knew this before, so submitting articles into web 2.0s while using proxies and with random names and emails linking back to your site is allowed by G ?

I am not saying I dont do this :D

I just want to know what G says

If its a quality article, which is fully intended to increase user internet experience, then it is ok to include a backlink to your site, since you are the author. If you are doing it with the intentions to change your rankings in the serps, then its not ok. Just like MagicMike said.

Yes! Because if you are writing nice articles, people want to learn about the author, and see more of your work because you probably have same ideals and views as them etc.

What if my autospun article reads so horribly that the user may chuckle? Sounds like a good user experience to me.

Actually, yes, if you post it on a comedy website. That is basically the premise behind many very successful sites.

Google for the most part forces webmasters to turn black hat...

What are you going to do? Hire a team of writers to do non stop content writing... What about small businesses who can't afford this? Micro niches where there just isn't enough known information to write after X amount? Individual website owners?

The fact is very few people are able to generate enough content to satisfy Google's needs.

Also, take into account that even webmasters who like your content will not link to you just because they are so deathly terrified of losing their Page Rank. Also, many content readers are not webmasters. Thus 99% of people can't give you a link if they wanted to.

The truth of the matter is... If you don't break Google's rules at least a little you will never rank. Even then your black hat competitors will spam their way to the top.

The fact is, spam works. (provided it's done right)

In my company's research we've found approx 70% of websites on the first page are using at least some black hat seo. Don't believe me? Whip out traffic travis and type in any keyword. GO FOR IT! Now, how many websites have over 1,000 links or 10,000+ than a competitor. Do you honestly believe they built those naturally?

Also, look at their .edu & .gov links. Honestly how many websites out there that have these links really should??? Are they even related to education / government. NO. You just caught a black hat.

    // END RANT

People used black hat for saving time and money and this proves better for sometimes.
