As we all know, TONS of sites disappeared from SERPS. My site lost all its rankings as well...

I just want to know if anyone figured out the reason and even a fix maybe?

On site issues? Backlinks issues? My site was completely hand done and so we're all its backlinks..

It's too early to tell what the cause of the update was. Try waiting a week or two and see if your site comes back to normal. What I have realised is that people who have been affected are the ones using spun content as their tier 1 (direct back links)

It's crazy how easy people belive stuff on this forum. It seems like every month there is a topic where people think there is a google update because one of their sites tanked.

I don't think it is necessarily believing stuff, but being curious about certain situations is a better way to put it. All I was trying to imply was that my site has been fine for the past few months, consistently building quality links with real content but somehow it tanked. There may not have been an update on Google's end, but something is up due to the amount of websites that have dropped off the serps.

I am waiting for the next panda update to see if things come back to normal. I have added 10 new articles, removed low quality content, updated old articles, fixed duplicate content issue and a few more things. Let's see what happens. I have seen an article at searchengineland that there will be a panda update in the coming weeks.

I went from nowhere to #19 so the update must've boosted me. All I've been doing is article and web 2.0 pyramids with relative anchor variation.
