Moz released their ranking factors study which interview 150 SEO experts and applied that to a data correlation study.Looks like not much has really changed. Quality content is important but back-links are still king, and social engagement is at the bottom of the list. The stuff in the middle shifts around a little it seems but the major indicators don't seem to have changed much.

    What about your opinion ?

Here is the infographic of the summary of the results:

Can you please describe, how you are guessing that? Just an example: If I create 5 quality backlinks and my competitors create 10 cheap quality links? I need your opinion? Who will get rank? If I am, so how the number is working in here, if I am not, how you are defining, I need a mathematical logic. :)

Just simply the fact that while true 10 bad links will get you nowhere just having 1 amazing link only gets you so far. Top in SERPS always have numerous HQ links and you have to outdo the number of their HQ links with more equally HQ links

in the end it's always a game of numbers

appart from the fact that social signals appear to have a lesser impact on ranking. there is not much new here. you need quality backlinks and quality content to rank well. if you just concentrate on the number of back links you'll probably see an initial rapid increase in ranking followed by an iqually rapid decrease when the other factos of the algorithm kick in (bounce rate, user engagement, pogosticking etc).

I agree. I have yet to see the SSL actually take any ranking factor in effect though.
