So are forum posts, with random content and random link text, in or out after panda/penguin?

    Matthewseo,

I think forum posting is still a viable method for driving traffic to a website. As long as you are genuine and helpful, you should experience some success with this. Of course any time things look unnatural or spammy you run the risk of getting hit.

Here are some tips related to forum posting that may be of some use,

    Hope that helps,

I think TheContentAuthority is right but always use link variation in your post to save your link from Google penguin.
