Ok so I am ready to scale up my SMM with FB now and ready to dive in so I started doing some manual searches in my personal acct for groups related to my niche (fantasy sports) but I am only seeing a small handfull of groups in the search results and most are small groups of 50 or less people. I only saw 4 or 5 groups with 500 or more people. My question is are the search results limited in some way by FB, meaning are there possibly a ton more groups not showing in search because of my location or something that will show up when scraping groups with a bot and proxies?
It may for your location. If your FB is not phone verified, dont use other county IP, It may ban your account.
Are you searching thru graph search? The new graph search is still a bit buggy, and I get different results for the same search I do thru different accounts. So it's very easy to test this: tell us (here, or PM) what your search term is, and we will also search for it, and see if we get the same # of groups you got. If not, it means that graph search is limiting you. P.S. There are some great things to do with small group. Sometimes they are better than the large groups. Think outside the box I hope this helps
KHR is the FB bot in your sig your product? can it run 25 to 50 accts at the same time, looks like its only for 1 acct.
IDK how to use graph, still have some learning to do I was just using the search bar on my profile page. The search term was "daily fantasy sports" and "fantasy sports" plus a lot of other related KW I wont bore you with
The search bar IS the graph search... But since FB changed it a couple of weeks ago, some people have the new graph search and some still have the old one. How to check: When you search for something, and get the results, do you see some tabs under the search bar and above the results? Does it say "posts", "people", "photos" etc.? If so, you have the NEW graph search. I just tested this search: "daily fantasy sports" and got 23 groups. How many did you get? I hope this helps
I think you should know your target audience first this is the whole point and what things they like, their gender, age, location after that start looking for other groups related somehow to your audience if you find it related to your niche that is even better. Tip: if you can't do this just take a bunch of people that are already doing the same thing you are trying to do and look for what groups they have on their profiles then join them it's that simple! No proxies needed, no bots nothing. be careful facebook may temporary block you if you joined too much. For new accounts don't join over 30 groups per day, but aged accounts you can join over 50 a day.
