Small claims in the US

    Hi,

    Have completed a project for a guy in the US who's now cut off communication, so doesn't look as if I'm getting my money.

    In the UK we have a small claims court, so you can issue a writ online for a tiny fee.

    Is there an equivalent in the US (it's for $2000), or do I need to get a lawyer?

    The business is in San Antonio, Texas.

    Get a lawyer. Make sure you have his personal info, or else your pretty much screwed
