Slow spending, what should I do?

Hard to tell because we give account had already spend 100k but can't spend with new campaign. High trusted account with verified BM is what we gave for customer. Changing new BM, new Pixel but nothing changes
Then the error comes from that advertising account, you can change to a new advertising account to see if the error occurs.

In 2025 ad costs dropped a bit in some regions, but results can still be delayed due to platform learning phase.
Try Advantage+ campaigns on Meta, they usually give cheaper CPR by letting the algorithm auto-optimize.
Carousel ads and Reels placements are currently performing cheaper than single-image ads.
Test multiple creatives fast—good creatives lower CPR more than changing settings alone
Great! I’ve noticed the same, learning phase slows things down. Advantage+ has worked well for me too, especially paired with Reels. Totally agree that creatives make the biggest difference in CPR compared to just tweaking settings

Use tools like Dynamic Creative to test visuals/text combos quickly and always reallocate budget to high-performing ad sets.

Slow ad spend, delayed results, and unusually high cost per result are often due to a learning distribution system or high competition. There are currently no specific new settings for lower CPR in 2025, but you should test multiple small ad sets with different audiences to find the most effective ones.
Yeah, slow spend and high CPR usually come from the learning phase or just heavy competition. I haven’t seen any brand-new settings in 2025 to magically lower CPR, but testing smaller ad sets with different audiences still works best to find what’s effective

The reason comes from the quality of the advertising account. If you have a highly rated account, your ads will be delivered faster.

To lower costs and boost results, create smaller audience segments by age, interests, or behaviors, and use lookalikes of your best customers. Invest in quality creatives, test different formats, and run multiple small ad sets to see which audience performs best.

Set up more campaigns. Adding a page interaction campaign can help your ads deliver faster

Testing broader audiences, adjusting bidding strategies, and giving campaigns more warm-up time can sometimes improve spend and lower CPR.

The slow spending could also be partly due to the account or content. Please delete the old campaign and create a new page engagement campaign. I think it will be better.

Slow spend and high CPR usually mean weak creatives or over targeting. Use broad audience, test with 3 to 5 video ads, and try Advantage+ campaign. Let it run for 2 to 3 days before making changes.

As my exp, there’s no single new setting to lower CPR, but performance can improve by adapting to Meta's current optimization preferences as using ASC/ASC+, applying broad targeting with strong creatives, and minimizing edits during the learning phase.

It may take some time for your campaign to optimize, but if you have to wait too long, it may be due to Facebook's ad blocking bug. Set up new campaigns, bid higher at times when customers are most likely to visit.
