Slow Load Times On WordPress Blog

    I have a wordpress blog using Thesis theme.

    The homepage loads well, but when I click into individual posts it takes forever to load.

    Can you please chack out my blog http:// Bosmol {dot} com and click into some posts and let me know if you have any suggestions/ tips/ advice.

    You could look into a different host, but wordpress in general isn't the quickest.

    Are you sure? On my end it loads VERY slowly :(

    Yup, the only cause that make your site looks slow is time to contact *.ytimg.com
    You can disable ads and compare the results with if you enable the ads.

    You can start by checking out your problems here hxxp://gtmetrix.com/reports/bosmol.com/s7A9jPQD and work your way up to atleast over 90 percent on both "Page Speed Grade" and "YSlow Grade" ..

    Try to reduce the amount of requests to half atleast..

    there are some plugins that make it load faster

    Check out some cache plugins to help it load faster. Also for permalink structure I hear calling the date, and then post name is better than just calling to the postname for the permalinks
