I just came across something, and I'm going to do something with it but wanted to spin it by some of you in here who might have even more ideas on how to really utilize it.

Code:
http://slinkset.com/

Ok, here's the deal. I was on another forum for a niche that I promote a product in. Someone said they had made a news site so everyone could get the latest news on the topic/niche in question. So, other members went to visit the site and everyone was bookmarking it - I went and it was very cool.

I was actually able to contribute something that made a link going back to my site.

His was on a private domain, so I was curious what the software was running it. I was thinking why didn't this guy have a butt load of adsense on it. I realized it is run on this other site slinkset and you can put your own domain on your feed site.

What I first thought was cool, maybe I can use some of the silly 99 cent dot infos I have sitting around, and then post my own stuff on it. Then I thought about doing some backlinks to the slinkset appointed site using some wordpress blogs etc, and in the long term the domain will build a lot of backlinks to it if it is a good mix on the dot info and could become very valuable.

Anyone have any other ideas on the best way to utilize this site?

Here's an example of someones site:

Code:
http://news.thinkgene.com/
Not sure how to manage this on a sub-domain.

The initial site I was directed to was a main domain. I have not tried officially building a site with this yet.

Oh, here is a dot org:

Code:
http://www.jfei.org/
and I see someone has a blog roll on there.

This has definitely got to be a no-brainer.

So what do you all think? It appears to be a quick way to make a type of fancy RSS feed site.

(don't forget the thanks button if you like it)
