I have a very small wp o matic problem, nothing too big, but annoying. Now I have a few feeds set to grab posts every hour, problem is, wp o matic, keeps trying to fetch feeds every 4 hours. Is the minimum time 4 hours? I don't understand why it keeps doing this. I don't have a cronjob set up, I just use the built in cron that came with wp o matic.

So basically my problem is, I want it to fetch feeds every hour, but everytime it fetches a feed, it says it will fetch a feed in another 4 Hours. If anyone could help me with this it would be much appreciated!

the built in cron job runs every 10 minutes. Each feed has its own time that it will be processed. So the script will run every 10 minutes provided someone visits your site and if one of the feeds is due for an update at that time it will process it. Check the time on the feed and make sure it is set to 1h.

The built in cron does only fire when someone visits your blog, so when you have few visitors it will usually get delayed. Try visiting your blog after an hour and see if it fires right then...

Alright, also have another problem. I was having each post have my adsense code, and then the {content} code. Now it originally works when I do it manually, when I actually go in and hit fetch, but then when it auto pulls a feed, it totally ignores my template, and just puts the {content} in.

THis is starting to piss me off, because I would like to have my adsense code at the top of every blog post. Does anyone know how to actually go in the wpomatic.php, and change the code to have it put my adsense at the top of every post?

If anyone can help with this it would be much appreciated!

u might want to try one of the adsense plugins. there are a few that automatically inserts the adsense code for you when a user visits the post..

make sure that the time on wordpress is the same as the time on your server. That will sort it out.
