So I browse flippa here and there, sometimes buy sites. But whats up with these sites that are only a few months old but have 20k-30k monthly traffic? When flippa was young it was these turnkey "high potential" garbage sites but with no traffic, is this the next stage? but I read the articles on some of these sites and the english is fine. None of it is spun content... no spammed links, i just don't get it?

    any insight would be great.

Every time I browse sites on Flippa I see that 90%+ sites are fake. No authority, no rankings for keywords in Google, no design ...And when I see Google analitics and income screenshots on all of these you should ask yourself:"If everyone have proof of income and all sites are fake, is there a way to fake these screenshots?"
    Of course there is

You can get killer deals on flippa for ecommerce websites. I should actually do a thread on how to buy ecommerce sites for cheap, what section of the forum would that go in.

This is something I have wondered for some time. One sees a ton of sites on there that have only been up for a month or two and have decent earnings. I've long wondered how they do that. Is it fake? Photoshop? Or is there really something out there that can make this happen and I just haven't found it yet. I bought an ecommerce site from there some time ago. It was an Amazon store. It looked good and was easy to use. Signed up to be an Amazon affiliate and after about 2 weeks got a notice back from Amazon that my affiliate app had been denied because the site didn't have any "content" on it. It's a store, for crying out loud! It had tons of products on it pulled from Amazon. I had advertised this store through my newspaper and even had a few sales. Got nothing for it. I don't blame the seller, but I learned a valuable lesson.
