hi all,
with the Google News update a couple of days back, Google got rid of the need for sites to apply to be included in Google News. Google now say:
'"Publishers no longer need to submit their site to be eligible for the Google News app and website. Publishers are automatically considered for Top stories or the News tab of Search. They just need to produce high-quality content and comply with Google News content policies."
I have checked a couple of my old sites (none of which were accepted into the Google News Program), and if I enter site:xxxxx.xxxx and then check the News tab on google.com I can see a couple of my articles have already been indexed by Google News for these sites.
It might be worth you checking this out, you may find your articles and posts are now indexed by Google News?
