Sites like YouLikeHits and getting paid per click?

I'm back again doing research and I thought to myself. Who am I kidding?
Every solution I can find is sealed shut and bots have been pounding it for years.
The only people saying it works are online marketers spreading content for the
purpose of just content.
Still, I'm just throwing my question out here and see if anyone have any thoughts
or know a way to do this.

I watched one online marketer talking about using YouLikeHits with a retweet
method and that way boosts the tweets. My guess is that bots are boosting any
tweet and it sends social signals witch then convert to real traffic?
Not sure. I've never tried it.
