When I type in Google site: and a full amazon link to a product why does GOogle not recognise it?

    P.S
This is a redirect from a domain name

It's because of the way that the site: attribute is set up to work ...

it was done to recognise 'keywords' within a domain that are indexed

e.g. site:fredblogs. (dotty) tld blue widgets

this will tell you if fredblogs has a page regarding blue widgets indexed within google, it is not made to tell you if a page is indexed via a url ..

I hope that makes sense, coz I'm a little confuzzled myself now !

    Respect
