I'm about to submit my site on google and other search engines. should i submit only the main link or should I also submit other sub-pages on the website?

    here is what I mean:

    main link: mysite.com
    sub-link: mysite.com/abc
    mysite.com/def

    and so on

or should I just let search engine spiders crawl on the pages?

your input will be very much appreciated! :)

    thanks!

Search engine marketing today really does not require you to submit your site to the search engines. As you work on your backlinks (getting your link on other sites using keyword's as your anchor text) the search engines will find and spider your website. If you are going to take the time to submit your site anyways to the search engines then only submit the top level domain. mysite.com submitting 2nd level mysite.com/folder or 3rd level mysite.com/folder/folder2 will not do you any good. If you have built your link structure and navigation properly on your site, the search engines will crawl the entire site and find your pages. If you have any flash on your site and it contains links to other sections of your website then by all means have other links to those same pages as the search engines will not pull the links out of your flash. Also create a good sitemap for your website and use to not go keyword crazy with the text for those links on your sitemap.

    it depends,
1.if you have good internal link structure, or you have created a site map.
you need to submit only main top level domain & your sitemap,
else if you feel that your internal link structure is not good & if you dont know how to make sitemap then go on submitting each page.

however u will loads of sitemap maker out here only.

There's a difference between search engines and directories.

Submitting your site to relevant directories can help your link popularity and every link you put out there can be clicked by a potential customer!

There are post's on this site in regards to directory submitter software which will allow you to submit to like 2300 directories. The software stores all of your website information, you can even have it rotate through different site profiles. The program then visits each directory and auto fills in the site information for you. All you need to do is fill in the captcha and the submission is pretty much done. Or you can ask here or on DP (digitalpoint.com) and find people that will do the directory submissions for you. It's very inexpensive to do and will save you a lot of time from having to do it yourself. This references back to my first post about the importance of backlinks. The more you have the better, you really want to try and get your site linked on high profile websites which will look better to the search engines.

It is almost like a popularity contest, if your site is ranked on several high profile websites, then the search engines will take a higher stand with your site opposed to someone who only has links on lesser known sites with little traffic.
