Site sanboxed, my guess freetrafficsystem

    I have a PR4 site which was getting 150 visits per day from G and suddenly the visits dropped from 150 to 20s. The site does show up in search when I search for brand name. But when I search for any line in quotes, G says no results found. However, the line in quotes is present in Google cache.

    So, my guess ... the site is partially sandboxed. I have been doing blog comment spamming (manual and comment kahuna) and free traffic system.

    My guess (again its a guess) that freetrafficsystem blogs are infected and considered spam by G. I recently went crazy on freetrafficsystem and submitted a bunch of spin articles. And yes, I did spin them a lot ...

    A warning to other site owners to avoid freetrafficsystem. If you are an affiliate or owner of freetrafficsystem, I know I am not attaching any concrete data to my guess. After all, as the thread title says ... its a guess not a claim. No, I will not mention my domain name.

    How many blog comments you post per day?

    Around 10-15 comments per day ... However, only 3-4 comments per day go live as rest are rejected by moderators.

    How old is the site? It may be that you got to pr 4 too quickly

    The site is 6 months old. It got to PR4 as the launch was covered well by some high PR blogs and the site was showcased as customer success on a site's PR5 homepage. That PR5 homepage link was taken down 2 months back though as they now showcase someone else.

    Can just missing that link throw the site in sandbox?

    I also want to know what get you to sandbox, and how to avoid get sandbox again.

    Need an expert here.

    I think it could be freetrafficsystem too. I have a site sandboxed because
    protraffichits.us send me a burst of visits. I always disable google analytics while i send crap traffic. But this time the traffic came unexpectedly

    I had an account with protraffichits.us but i think it was disabled, but magically i earned some bonus points or something and they send me like 10 visits. After that, i received a visit from google with this referrer __jc_unknown_var_cloak.base-2009-07-23-00-00.vars.referer__, an hour later i was sandboxed. :confused:

    I don't think Google search and Google analytics would be working together to sandbox. I am not a legal expert but it doesn't sound right for G to mix up two products and use the analytics to position a site in search.
