    Hey!

When designing a site do you guys open the site as quickly as possible?

Lets say the design work, and everything else is in place, Say you have one 100 articles online which you plan to extend to 1,000.

Would you rather wait till all articles are done (Will this weigh the site more and faster) or would you get it online faster (Will google weigh it more with regularly updates? like 50 a day..)

    Thoughts please!

I like to be consistant with adding new articles and don't like dumping them all in one go doesn't really seem very natural to me.

One a day for the first couple of weeks and if they're being indexed great drop a few more per day if not get some authority links into the site and then scale up.

I never post more than 2 a day normally 3-4 per week is all I need but depending on what you're trying to acheive your milage may vary.

Definitely build gradually if you can: It will always look more natural.

I know large sites go online instantly all the time - but they're not trying to achieve what you are - which is a gradual ranking increase to make money.

I also have to say that if you're doing 1,000 hand-written articles for one site then you're obviously investing a lot of money. Be careful with link-building on a project like that - it'll be a lot of work to lose. Unless of course you're just talking about spun-content...

Remember that consistency is important. Don't do 50 per day for 20 days and then stop. It'd be better to drip them in gradually over months, especially if it's a new domain.
