Site is page 1 but not making earnings

I have one of my site that is ranking on page 1 of google.

The keyword it is ranked for has 9,000 monthly search terms.

I already see traffic from the rankings.

The only thing I have in this site to make money is a clickbank product and adsense. However, I am not seeing any sales.

Is their anything else that I can add that will help me generate revenue.

I was thinking about using a cpa but Im not sure and will it affect my rankings if I ad a cpa banner on my site?

How much traffic are you getting? Is it a selling keyword? Have you optimised the placement of your ads?

There are a lot of factors that have to do with the sales on it.

How long has it been ranking? What's the traffic like?

What's the main purpose of the page? Are you trying to get Adsense clicks, or Clickbank hops?

How many hops are you getting?

If you're not getting the hops, then you need to refine your page so that people "want" to click through to the product.

If you're getting hops, but no conversions, then the burden of conversion lies on your chosen product. Is there another product? How well does it convert for others?

Like ActionTaker says, is it a selling keyword? If people aren't looking to buy when they visit your page, there is less of a chance that they will.

lol....i'm on #1 for a keyword with 45k exact match, and i'm not making many sales also....just move on, find something better, that's what i did
