Some free themes require that you leave their (often encoded) links in the footer. From the message you get, that's most likely the case.

Listen, you you get something for Free/$5 you have to agree to a ToS. If you violate this, people have measures to counter it.
    Either:
    • Fiverr guy nulled a theme, original owner has Google Alerts or advanced tracking mechanism on the theme so they can remotely lock it.

If it is under CC license, then why on earth would you remove the footer links? They have every right to lock your theme.

I just read an article on this just the other day. The above is your "best case scenario". You HOPE it's something benign like encoded backlinks or whatever. At worst it's a hard-coded backdoor to your site so that anyone with the right 1's & 0's can do whatever they want with your site. Send spam, phish, whatever.

The basic gist of the article was to never use "free" templates, and I suspect what's happened in your case is that someone has sold you something that you might have been able to get for free. There's no one to blame, really. Just a step on your learning path. The question now is how fast are you going to learn the current lesson, and how effectively are you going to maximize it's benefits in the future (a fancy way of saying "make sure you don't do THAT again").

I appreciate the feedback guys . I cant even get to admin of my page without forementioned above notice I just had the site hit bottom of page 1 too. The links at the bottom I just noticed and I thought what the hell is a link to a canadian water filter site doing on a health related niche site. I went in to appearance side of the code and deleted the links. Stupid mfs man always gotta try and scam mannn im heated.

Ok so apparently they sold me something they had control via a nulled theme. I did go to a site that had that common license piece of code that he probably used Im gonna contact them .

If you use FTP and delete the theme that should work. You could even delete the entire WP installation and start again.

If you can't log into the theme to export your content then it probably will get deleted. If you can log into the admin area you can go to tools and export all your pages and post. Then when you scrap the theme and reupload just import it again.

I would think that information (such as posts) would be in your database. The things that remain on your site when you switch themes (within the dashboard) should all be in the database. So when you install a new theme (via FTP or?) those things should remain. You may want to do a security scan once you get into your site to make sure there are no other problems. The WP-Security Scan plugin is good, there are some others as well.

It sounds more like your site got hacked because it is using an old version of timthumb.php ... if you can't login or get the admin section they may have replaced your admin user. you can add another admin user through cpanel ... don't forget to hash your password. Also, you might want to search all your code for base64_decode / base64_encode and eval type injected code. Good luck!
