I have a question, my site which i have decided to do more work on, (after a little bit of thought) i left for a while and the hosting ran out. The domain registra then put up some domain parking. I have now got some more hosting, but my site seems to have dissapeared from googles index. It was there with the domain parking, obviously not where it should be ranking with proper onsite seo, but if i searched the site url it was there.

What happens to sites when it gets changed to parked? Will my site come back as it was, will it comeback at all? I have pinged it, and submitted it through a meta indexer! It still has 3,000 backlinks, will i have lost any of the power?

Have you added any content back to the site?

It should be indexed fast. Try to make some web 2.0s pointing to your website. Some high PR links would help as well.

If there were no problems before it was parked then you are probably OK. Bookmark the site a few times and then just wait a bit, indexing should be easy as that is what Google does. You can check your stats and see if the bots are crawling the site, if they are then your new content should show up.

Statcounter says Googlebot-image was there yesterday and Google today. There where no issues before it being parked, but its just odd it dissapeared from the index, i was expecting it to change not dissapear!

With there being no problems before I am sure it will come back so just keep adding new content and point some web 2.0 at the site.
