I'm aware of google dance, though have never experienced it personally.
I have put up about 150 websites in the last three months, and never really experienced this with any of them, though they are small sites and haven't followed them as much as I am with this one.

It has only two links to it. It keeps showing up around #30-40 in google, then the main page disappears, and subpage will then show up for that keyword around #70. Then sometimes it will come back, sometimes that subpage will fall out, sometimes there is nothing ranking in google.

Here's the thing, I bought the domain in an auction, so it's not a brand new domain, but thee were also no links going to it.

Do you think this is google dance? Any reason?
It's an ecommerce site using osCommerce.
    Any ideas?

Sounds like normal movement at that level. Most of the time things fluctuate heavily outside of the top 20.

In my opinion, that is Google dancing. Start a consistent backlinking campaign and see if it stops in a few weeks.

I have the same thing going on. Big sites, little sites, few backlins, tons of backlinks. Seems google is dancing like crazy lately.
